Is TavoPOS free?
Yes — the Free tier lets you start selling with cash, sales tax, and basic reports at no cost. Upgrade to Basic or Professional when you need more.
What devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad, plus Android phones and tablets. One app, both platforms.
How do I accept card payments?
Card payments (including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Tap to Pay on iPhone) run through Stripe on the Professional tier. You connect your own Stripe account — no card data is stored on your device.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. You can optionally enable automatic backups to your own Google Drive so you never lose your business data.
Can I set up sales tax?
Yes. Enter a combined rate in seconds, or split rates by department with per-product overrides. Tax setup is an aid — please verify your rate with your state or local tax authority.
